ATTENTION - ALL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS: REQUEST TO PARTICIPATE IN NATIONAL STUDENT MENTAL HEALTH SURVEY

Body

Dear Undergraduate Students,

National Student Health Survey

Please assist with research on the mental health and support needs of university students in SA, by participating in an anonymous online national student survey, if you have not already done so.

Thank you to all those students who have already contributed to this important national project.

The survey will take approximately 20-30 mins of your time and is on a #datafree website so that it will not utilize mobile data.  All undergraduate students in SA are being asked to complete the survey, so that the experiences and voices of all students can be heard.

Students who participate in the survey will be entered into a lucky draw to receive incentives.

Follow this link to complete the survey:

This project has been initiated by Universities South Africa (USAf) and the Medical Research Council (SAMRC), in collaboration with the WHO World Mental Health International College Student Initiative. Ethical clearance and appropriate institutional permission have been obtained for this research (see full details in the consent form at the start of the online survey). The anonymous data you provide will be securely stored and will only be used for research purposes to plan appropriate student support services.

Questions about the survey can be emailed to:  sanss@sun.ac.za

Yours sincerely
